As we all know, no two dogs are alike. That’s why we love them, right? Our price guidelines reflect this. We base our prices by weight as all breed types aren’t uniform, take Doodles for example. However, not all dogs of a certain weight are equal in terms of grooming either. Think Boston Terriers and Maltese as an example.
Our pricing states the BASE price with additional charges possibly incurring for overweight dogs, health problems, mobility problems, hair type, matting, trim modifications, behavior, skin issues, or express grooms. Please ask your groomer for pricing estimates. Listed below are pricing guidelines for additional charges to be determined at time of service.
Our goal at Doggone Pretty is to keep your pet healthy and beautiful while giving you the best, safest, and most honest grooming experience around. Please give us ample time to groom your pet. We are a quality over quantity salon. Ask your groomer for any specific time constraints or special needs concerning arrival and pick up times.
Full Groom
Base Price: $75 – $115+
Includes a bath with appropriate shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, nails trimmed and filed, ears cleaned and hair removed, anal glands expressed, and breed appropriate complete body trim and style. Specialty trims, overweight dogs, health issues, excessive matting, excessive coat or undercoat, and behavioral issues may bring additional charges, to be determined by your pet’s groomer. Bandannas and bows are at the discretion of the groomer, and an additional charge may be incurred.

Partial Groom
Base Price: $55 – $90+
Includes a bath with appropriate shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, nails trimmed and filed, ears cleaned and hair removed, and anal glands expressed. Face, feet, and sanitary trim included. A light outline trim may be included for certain breed types. Excessive shedding, undercoat, matting, and behavioral issues may bring additional charges, to be determined by your pet’s groomer. Bandannas and bows are at the discretion of the groomer, and an additional charge may be incurred.

Express Groom
Base Price: $25
If you don’t want your pet to visit with us for very long due to health issues or separation anxiety, we do offer an express type groom. Your groomer will advise you on the time frame depending on your pet’s needs.
All price estimates will be discussed upon meeting your pet. If any price changes need to be addressed we will make every attempt to contact you. Occasionally, a behavioral issue or underlying health or coat problem not detected upon initial exam will incur an additional charge.
Additional labor will be $60 per hour charged in 15 minute increments. Aggressive or Fractious pets will bring an additional charge, to be determined by the groomer. On occasion we may be unable to groom an aggressive pet.
Due to the inherent nature of our feline friends, all cats will be evaluated upon entering our salon to determine if grooming will be tolerated. Your pet’s safety as well as the safety of our staff is our first priority. Most cats can be safely groomed but there is the occasional Nervous Nellie that would be best suited for a veterinary environment. All cat clients will be asked to sign a cat release form.
As always, we will do our very best to accommodate you and your cat.
Full Groom
Base Price: $90
Includes shave or lion clip, bath with appropriate shampoo, blow dry, nails clipped, ears cleaned, and anal glands expressed. Head, mane and tail trim included if applicable.
Additional charges for fractious or aggressive behavior, health issues, excess matting or coat condition.
Bath and Brush Out: Long Hair Cats
Base Price: $60
Includes bath with appropriate shampoo, blow dry, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, anal glands expressed, potty patch, and undercoat stripping. De-matting will be an additional charge of $60 per hour in 15 minute increments. Cats with excessive matting will need to be shaved and will be charged the full groom price.

Bath Only: Short Hair Cats
Base Price: $45
Includes bath with appropriate shampoo, blow dry, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, anal glands expressed, potty patch and light brushing.
